We are a small Ottawa crew applying GoNano treatments to shingle roofs, driveways and flat roofs. Two jobs come up: assessing the surface and quoting it, and doing the application work.

The two roles

Both are based in Ottawa and both run through the season. If neither one fits and you still want to work with us, write anyway and say what you do.

  • Sales Representative

    You look at the roof or the driveway, tell the homeowner what we would apply and why, and write the quote.

    What you would do

    • Find work and keep in touch with homeowners who have asked about us
    • Assess roofs and surfaces on site and write the quote
    • Explain what the treatment does and what it does not do
    • Work to the targets we agree on

    What we are looking for

    • Sales experience, home improvement preferred
    • Able to explain a technical job in plain words
    • Organised enough to run your own week

  • On-Site Application Technician

    You do the work: preparing the surface and applying the GoNano treatment the assessment called for.

    What you would do

    • Apply GoNano treatments to shingle roofs, concrete and asphalt driveways
    • Prepare surfaces so the treatment goes on properly
    • Look after the equipment and follow the safety procedure
    • Deal with the customer while you are on their property

    What we are looking for

    • Construction, roofing or a similar trade behind you
    • Fine working at height and outdoors through the season
    • Careful with the details of a job nobody sees you do

Where the work happens

Both roles cover Ottawa, Kanata, Nepean, Barrhaven, Orleans, Gloucester, Stittsville. Technicians work on residential asphalt shingle roofs, concrete driveways, walkways, patios and interlock, asphalt driveways and commercial flat roofs, applying the GoNano line and related surface treatments: NuRoof Fortify, NuRoof Revive, NuRoof Boost, Concrete Saver, Asphalt Driveway Treatment, Commercial Roofing.

Roofs are the primary line of work. A newer roof gets a protective nano coating, while an aging roof is assessed for shingle rejuvenation instead. If you want to know exactly what you would be applying before you apply, read everything we do.

Driveway work splits the same way. We treat concrete driveways, patios, walkways, garage floors, interlock pavers and patio stones with GoNano Concrete Saver, which is for concrete, masonry and paver surfaces. Asphalt driveways get a separate GoNano asphalt treatment that penetrates the bitumen binder. The two products are not interchangeable, and knowing which surface takes which is part of the job.

Protexa Property Services is a certified GoNano contractor. That matters for more than credentials: the manufacturer's warranty is issued by GoNano, not by us, and only on work applied by a certified contractor. Our certification is what puts that warranty behind the job you would be doing.
